Our Litespeed range of hang gliders have been DHV certified using 2mm (1 x 19) wire.
We recommend that all gliders with 2mm (1 x 19) wire should change their wires every 6 months or every 50 hours or with any sign of fatigue or kinking.

It has come to our attention, thru the concerns of some pilots that were having difficulty deploying their parachutes from their Matrix harnesses, that others may find themselves in a similar situation.

It has come to our attention that someone in Slovenia intends to produce and distribute uprights which closely resemble our Zoom uprights that can be mounted into our gliders. The overall outside specs are quite similar, so customers could easily be mislead into thinking they may be just as good to use.

We wish to reiterate that all pilots should check their side wires regularly, and in this case regularly means every time you fly. This is rehashing information previously published on this website and elsewhere, but it is important.
Moyes Base Bar and Upright Fittings

Moyes use high quality cast aluminium fittings on both the ZOOM upright ends and the ZOOM base bar ends. These fittings have been extensively tested and have proved to handle loads well in excess of that required from the normal operation of a hang glider. The parts have been in use since 2000 and have never failed in the course of normal operations.
