In the first photo, Bill was invited to please the crowds at the official opening of the Sydney Opera House.
Bill launched from Luna Park on the other side of Sydney Harbour, being towed behind a motor boat driven by Brock.
Bill was towed under the Harbour Bridge, and then to a height of 1000ft over the Opera House. Bill then released from the tow, performed some aerobatics for the crowd and then landed.
"The worst part," says Bill, "was that Brock drove the boat to fast under the bridge and I nearly flew into the bottom of the bridge." The Sydney Harbour Bridge is about 170ft above the water.
