Forbes Flatlands - Australian National Hang Gliding Championships 2015
Starts Thursday, January 1, 2015 with Wednesday 31st January as the registration and Welcome / NYE BBQ! Should be another big one! Bill Moyes receives his FAI Gold Air Medal. Congratulations Bill Moyes!
October 2014, at the 108th FAI General Conference in Pattaya, Thailand, Bill Moyes humbly received the FAI Gold Air Medal for his contribution to the development of hang gliding. On receipt of the Gold Air Medal and Diploma presented to him by FAI President, John Grubbström, Bill signed the Gold Air Medal book that other recipients before him have signed. This historical tradition cements Bill Moyes a place in FAI history alongside such greats as Charles Lindbergh and John Dickenson. |

It’s been an exciting year with some great comp results, Bill receiving his Gold Air Medal and the big Moyes move. We are settling into our new home and building our first swag of Christmas presents! Wishing everyone a happy and safe holiday. |
