To get you into an RX you will be proud to rave about we are offering a special promotion. Order any size RX glider and receive 2 spare uprights, a cross country bag and the new option of coloured batten tapes valued at $500 free of charge! Tom Weissenberger has just taken delivery of his new RX 3.5, and sounds pretty excited! “My new RX3.5 is a cracker! After 17 years flying the Litespeeds since model1 I now have to say that this one is the best Moyes wing I ever had. Maybe because of the redesigned outer trailing edge, maybe because of a new batten profile or just because of these bright yellow sail rips... Bloody thanks to Moyes Delta Gliders”! -- Tom Weissenberger

Open Distance World Record Attempt - Zapata TexasJonny Durand has just spent the last 3 weeks in Zapata Texas attempting the Open Distance World Record, we unfortunately didn’t get the conditions we needed….. Jonny writes: "Well the world record encampment is officially over. I'm sitting here at the airport waiting to catch my flight back to LAX reflecting on the past two weeks or so. I managed 5 flights totalling around 500 miles with the last one 302 miles. Unfortunately I didn't get the weather to have a good crack at the 475 mile flight but there is always next time. A huge thanks to everyone who helped me try for this record attempt.” |

Jon Gjerde from Norway when aerobatics goes wrong….Here’s a video of an experienced aerobatic pilot showing us how fast things can go wrong….. The keel strap held Jon to the glider which gave him sufficient time to deploy his chute and thankfully to come down safely. Hang on to your seat while you are watching…. Jon wrote: I have lots of speed and get an abrupt pullout by accident. The reason for this is to high speed, and bent elbows on the bottom of the dive. I flew a Moyes Litespeed rx4 with racing wires. With standard (thicker) wires the glider may have stayed together (although not built for 160+ km/h...and G-force probably above 7?) This link shows you how violent his G force was...
